Description
On the 23rd July 2009 we had an overnight visit by the Quality in Tourism (VisitBritain) Hotel Inspector. They have since accredited us with a 4-star Gold Award.
The Inspector's summary (in brief) read:
Under the British Common Standard for Guest Accommodation, The Twenty One achieves a Four Star Gold Guest Accommodation rating. One feature of the standard is that the key areas of the business: cleanliness, hospitality, bedrooms, bathrooms and breakfast must be of an equivalent quality to the overall rating awarded. All of these areas should, therefore, meet or exceed the quality expected at a particular star level for that rating to be achieved. Following this assessment the establishment meets these requirements, enabling the rating to be confirmed.
The Twenty One provides very well appointed, high quality accommodation within the City of Brighton.
The property is within easy walking distance of the seafront, pier and local restaurants and bars in Kemp Town.
Housekeeping was of an exceptional standard throughout the property and the owners are commended on their attention to detail and high levels of consistency.
Breakfast was very well cooked and presented and an excellent range of cooked and continental dishes are provided for guests enjoyment.
The owners are wished continued good luck and success for the future.
Physical areas: The property is maintained to a very high standard and the owners are very proactive and are always looking for ways to improve and enhance their guests experience.
Service and hospitality: An excellent level of hospitality and service was provided by Matt and Andy making guests feel very relaxed and immediately at home.
