On the 16th April 2008 we had an overnight visit by the AA Inspector. The AA Inspector's summary (in brief) read: The purpose of this visit was to assess The Twenty One Guest House under the AA Quality Standards and I am delighted to confirm a 'Highly Commended' Four Star rating with a Guest Accommodation designator. Andy & Matt are a charming couple who clearly put their guest's comfort at the forefront of everything they do. Hospitatlity & service are the highlights with lots of attention to detail such as an abundance of extra amenities in rooms, assistance with places to visit & help with parking. Physically the property is very well decorated, carefully maintained & comfortably furnished. Breakfast is well presented with plenty of fresh fruit, pastries & a choice of hot dishes. This has been a very enjoyable stay with many high points & it's encouraging to hear that complacency does not figure in Andy & Matt's professional ethos.  AA 4 Highly Commended Yellow Star
